When I journal I write down 2-3 current problems in my business.
One thing I’m working on is changing my internal reaction to these problems.
I want to change from asking:
“How do I get this problem off my plate?”
…to asking the much better question…
“What’s the system for that?”
In other words, I don’t want a one-time solution – which usually involves me doing more work and isn’t scalable or sustainable.
I want a system that solves the problem.
A system that gets easier the more it’s executed.
A system that’s sustainable and scalable.
A system that leverages my time, energy and effort.
Even if it’s something I have to do entirely myself, it’s still helpful to ask the question, “What’s the system for that?”
It puts me in a different mode of creativity because I’m looking for a different kind of solution.
