Being MicroFamous means becoming famously influential to the right people. It means when the right people think of the results they want and the problem we solve, we come to mind FIRST. – Matt Johnson
Hey all! With the upcoming launch of my first book, MicroFamous, I’m shaking things up.
I wanted to share some exciting news and I hope we can celebrate together!
In conjunction with the book release late this year, I’m rebranding my podcast under the same name, MicroFamous.
As the podcast has evolved, I find myself talking more about MicroFamous strategy, system and tactics, because it’s what all my friends, clients and colleagues need.
We’re all growing our thought leadership business, and I want to make a big impact by launching thought leaders, so MicroFamous is the most important thing I can share at this stage of my life.
In the future, I’ll share more on personal and business development, as it pertains to becoming MicroFamous and then leveraging that into a simple, profitable thought leadership business.
So what does it mean to be MicroFamous?
It sounds snazzy, but what does it really mean for thought leaders?
Clearly we’re not talking about being social media famous. If you’re like me, you have zero interest in building a business that locks you into being glued to a phone.
So here’s my definition of MicroFamous for thought leaders…
Famously influential to the right people.
The people we want to teach, train and lead.
It means when the right people think of the results they want and the problem we solve, we come to mind FIRST.
We lead them to new beliefs, new actions and new results.
It’s a leadership position in the minds of the right people. OUR people, the people we want in our audience. The people we want to serve and impact.
The people we want to LEAD.
Through the podcast and the upcoming book, I’ll be sharing the MicroFamous Strategy, and the system that makes it possible to become famously influential to the right people.
Now this all raises a good question: Who should become MicroFamous?
Anyone who is driven to teach, train and lead.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t NOT teach, train and lead. I was born for it, I was groomed for it, and now I’m stepping into it.
If you’re the same way, you are an emerging thought leader… whether the rest of the world knows it or not.
If you are driven to lead people to new beliefs, new actions and new results, you are a thought leader.
And you need to become MicroFamous.
Why? Because we’re drowning in Noise.
10 years ago, publishing a video or a launching a podcast was hard. Today we can do both from our smartphone.
Tools and tactics have also become insanely cheap. The additional cost of a piece of content or a follower on social media is basically zero.
In a world where anyone can start a podcast, a blog, a YouTube channel, throw up a landing page and run Facebook ads, we are drowning in Noise.
We have tons of new influencers, and very few leaders.
People have problems and they’re looking for solutions, but they don’t know who to trust. All they get is the collective Noise of all the brands and influencers shouting at them online.
People are starving for leadership.
That’s why those who truly are driven to teach, train and lead need to step up. We need to become MicroFamous because that’s what people need in order to step out and follow us.
Becoming MicroFamous means we are famously influential to the right people.
When we are MicroFamous, its easy for the right people to find us, easy to understand how we help, and easy to trust and take the next step with us.
MicroFamous isn’t about ego, it’s about leadership.
People want to be led to results they can’t get on their own.
So for those of us who are driven to teach, train and lead, we have a responsibility to make it easy for people to follow us.
Easy to categorize. Easy to understand. Easy to trust.
That starts with being MicroFamous. Famously influential to the right people.
People need us to be MicroFamous. They need to see us as a leader so they can trust us and move forward confidently.
So if that’s the kind of leader you want to be, you’re going to like the direction the podcast is taking. And you’ll also want keep an eye out for the upcoming MicroFamous book.
In both we break down the strategy, system and tactics to become MicroFamous.
I’d love to hear your feedback, so connect with me on social. I’m famously unavailable by phone or email, so go to GetMicroFamous.com. All my social links are there, especially Facebook Messenger which is the best way to reach me with questions and comments.
